Medicare Rebates
Our psychologists are registered providers of Focussed Psychological Strategies under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. This initiative provides Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year to individuals with a referral from a General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. As part of the referral, they will develop a Mental Health Treatment Plan with you and this plan is shared with the treating psychologist prior to the first appointment.
From 1 July 2024, the Medicare rebate is $96.65 per session.
Private Health Insurance Rebates
Private health insurers may also rebate part of the cost of psychological consultations. Please contact your health insurance provider to understand the benefit covered each session and for further information.
